My First Video Tutorial: AW13 Lips…

As many of you may know, I’ve been deliberating about jumping into the world of video tutorials. I’m more than confident in front of a camera in a professional environment and crew, however, the thought of talking to myself in a handheld camera for some reason didn’t sit right with me.

However, after a little pressure was applied by the online fashion magazine that I write for, Byoutifulyou.com, decided I needed to take the plunge. I thought I’d dip my toes in first and do a video without me talking and just making use of captions. I’m sure in time I’ll be happy enough to brave the sound of my own voice, but for now I think this works!

Anyhoo, back to the video. Taking my inspiration for Fashion Week, decided to do a short vid on how to create vamped up lips. It’s currently being seen on so many designer runways at Milan Fashion Week AW13 (such as Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana) that it seemed the right thing to start off with – and all you need is a brown eyeliner (yep, you heard right) and a red lipstick!
