Todays Bridal Test Shoot

Today me and my partner in crime, photographer Ruth Rose decided to do a Bridal/Wedding themed test. It was only decided last Thursday and with the long Bank Hol it was a wonder how we managed to pull it off! With amazing brands like Kitty and Dulcie (for the dress) and Flo and Percy (for the headpieces) saving the day with their generous lending we cannot be thankful enough for receiving these treats at such short notice and landing ourselves a beautiful location at The Petersham Hotel in Richmond, Surrey! So thank you guys!

Our beautiful models, Josie (from Samantha Bond Management) and David (from MOT – and Take Me Out) were our lucky Bride and Groom for the day. And what a beautiful couple they made.

With the team consisting of just myself and Ruth, I found myself taking care of the hair, makeup, styling and helping out Ruth where needed while she worked her genius magic.

We started off by creating a real bride and groom scenario on their “happy day”. Traditional romantic images of them being “in love”. Then after that, we treated ourselves to a spot of random fashion styled shots to mix up the day and make sure we all got something out of it.

I can’t WAIT to see the edits :) Of course, they’ll be straight on here as and when…

Todays shoot with singer/songwriter Kyra!

Today I worked on a shoot for Kyra: an up and coming singer ready to hit the music scene with a bang. Working in the same circles at Wretch 32, this gorgeous lady definitely has the personality and drive to succeed. The creative team bonded immediately and we all had an absolute ball pulling our ideas and visions together…all while singing and dancing to Ruths poptastic tunes in the studio!
