Today was the long awaited Bridal shoot for Affinity Magazine. I co-ordinated this shoot as I am the Beauty Writer for Affinity and with the next issue focusing on Wedding and Bridal beauty, I thought it only fair I pull together a shoot to accompany my article.
With three beautiful models from Lenis Model Management and a fabulous creative team, location and suppliers… we managed to dodge the thunderstorms (only just) and capture some real stunning shots.
Of course the edits will come very soon, but meanwhile, here are just a couple of images from my Behind The Scenes shots.

This week has been pretty hectic, what with my LEGO photoshoot on Monday, working with the CUTEST little lads… and getting first hand experience of the ultimate pushy mothers. There is no stereotype people, these ladies actually live! But I won’t go into that, there’s nothing wrong with wanting the best for your child, even if it does mean dictating their tastes in music! Anyhoo, it was a great day spent with great people and have two of my lovely ESVIE Creatives makeup artists covering the rest of the shoot next week! :) (more…)
We are always very proud when designers we work with have our images featured in magazines like Drapers… here are a couple of tearsheets where both Rock n Needle and Amplified Clothing have used our images that we created for their collections in the magazine…
I am particularly proud of my ESVIE Creatives team after seeing our work featuring on the website of the very highly respected, IDOL Magazine! After our plan of coordinating a test shoot with no rules, we came up with an amazing concept, pulling together our ideas of styling, hair, makeup and mood/lighting, to create these amazing shots… named L’Armour Toujours! A play on the French saying/song/novel Love Always – makes the piece imply someone protecting a fragile heart by wearing a mask/putting up a tough exterior.
