Today I worked on a Beauty Test shoot with internationally published fashion photographer Josh Carroll, fashion and celebrity hair stylist Jay Brookes and gorgeous model Joanna Philips from Profile Models.
It was one of them days where we just went with the flow, had a brief idea of what we wanted to achieve but generally just did whatever our creative minds wanted to do.
For me personally, this was more about creating beautiful makeups, despite it becoming slightly garish at times. I wanted to focus on getting the skin perfectly flawless, which was achieved using Artdeco Mineral Liquid Foundation before adding the colour to the eye, lips and cheeks (a mixture of MAC, Artdeco and Rimmel shades). Saying that, we had a bit of a 1920′s theme going on at certain points, which I absolutely loved and which seemed to work beautifully with the hair that Jay had created.
