Well…. apart from the fact I still haven’t hit the ground after last nights gig at The Square, I’m feeling pretty alive considering the amount jumping, hair throwing and screaming the songs at the top of my lungs I was doing!
Supported by The Skeletons and Half Naked, Billy, Charlotte and Josh aka The Subways really know how to pack out a venue… and the smaller the venue, the better it gets! I’m pretty sure they don’t get much smaller than The Square in Essex.
With the crazy fans moshing, climbing up on the stage and throwing themselves out for a spot of crowd surfing, The Subways just seemed to take it all in their stride and enjoy the commotion as much as anyone else. Nothing fazed them, no egos of their focus being taken away, just straight up rockin’ out to the most extreme level!
Aside from performing songs from their last two albums, The Subways treated us all to a number of new tracks off their new album due to launch this September! So watch this space!
Last nights gig was to help raise money for charity CLIC Sargent, and after the sell out last night, am sure that plenty was made!
